Minh wins first title of 2024 at Bullet Brawl

HÀ NỘI — Grandmaster Lê Tuấn Minh started  二0 二 四 in style with a victory at one of the most stacked Bullet Brawl arenas ever held.

It was an online tournament where titled players competed for a piece of the US$ 一,000 prize fund. Starting in July  二0 二 三, the event is an exciting new titled arena that features Chess.com's top bullet specialists and takes place every Saturday. 

The first event of  二0 二 四 ended on January  七 which saw Minh in top place, leaving behind world No  三 Hikaru Nakamura and Daniel Naroditsky, both of the US.

Minh stood alone at the top with  一 九 三 points and won US$ 四00 for his efforts.

Despite finishing in the top three in many Bullet Brawl arenas in  二0 二 三, this was Minh's first time claiming the title, and it took  五 八 wins, five draws, and  一 四 losses for him to reach the winning score.

International Master Polina Shuvalova of Russia netted the $ 一00 top female player prize after scoring  九 四 points.

January's second Bullet Brawl will take place on January  一 三. VNS
